When installing windows, there is always a good chance that you can run into problems like memory issues or a random error. It is better to be safe than sorry while installing any kind of software. Below are some general computer essentials.

Basic Computer Essentials for Newbie users

1- Memory:

This comes mainly because you need more than 1GB of RAM. If you want more, go for 2GB or even 4GB, you can do everything.

2-Hard Drive:

As the name suggests, this is used to hold all the data related to the computer.

3-VGA Display:

While using these two essentials, you need to make sure that your monitor has more than 3.5K and a larger resolution. 4K TV: I recommend you to go for a bigger screen now if you can afford to buy such. And 5K Monitor: Yes, this computer is no different from your laptop. So it has its display. Now let’s see these below.

2- Random Access Memory (RAM):

This is just enough memory for you to carry away every single program you might have installed on your computer. We do not have room for this because that would take so much space. A PC does not have too much memory. There is space for RAM in most of the machines that are popular these days of the course.

6GB Hard Drive:

Storage:

As storage comes under hardware, we must keep in mind that it doesn't fit in our computer's RAM. So we have to divide this area between 7GB and 10GB. It doesn't matter where you are going to store your files, just be creative.

HDD/Partition:

This is how much storage you require or need, no matter how big or small it is. If you don't have 2-3 GB of storage, you can easily get an extra HDD and part inside your computer’s case or desk. 15GB External Hard Disk Drive: We do not have large files. So we can only store so much here. All you need is to place your media files and any other data regarding your laptop or desktop as well. Some external drives are available now and again.

5-25Gb Memory:

We need memory for almost everything that comes in our laptops, so don’t go over the memory limit here. But the memory shouldn't exceed 25GB.
